- Each interested school should:
1. Submit an application form online which includes:
- Name of the school
- Country and city where the school is located
- Is the school Private or public?
- What grade levels / number of students are a part of the school?
- Name and email address for contact persons (2 or 3)
2. Motivation letter
- Why does your school wish to join ISSE?
- What can your school offer to the program?
3. Virtual visit of the school
- If an in-person visit from ISSE Administration to your school is not possible, providing details about your school environment as well as a virtual tour video and testimonials will assist in the decision making process.
- The application process is also easier if someone associated with the ISSE program recommends your school for ISSE.
- If the school is accepted, ISSE Administration will work to match it with another school for an exchange as soon as possible or for the next school year.
- A registration fee to become an ISSE member school must be submitted, and an annual fee to remain a member will be due each year. The ISSE treasurer will send an invoice as a reminder.
- New schools will have a coach or mentor school to help them through the process. The person who recommends the school could be that mentor.
